NTP Technology has chosen IBC 2009 as the launch venue for four major additions and upgrades to its range of broadcast-quality digital audio routers, signal processors, control software and interfaces.

NEW: NTP Penta 725 hardware platform
The PENTA 725 series is a new generation of compact modular audio routers. It has a capacity of 384 x 384 crosspoints with AES3 and optical MADI interfaces. Based on a 1U 19 inch chassis and controlled via TCP/IP, the PENTA 725 accommodates various software modules. The PENTA 725 has 64 AES3 stereo and four MADI inputs/outputs for interfacing digital audio sources. Two high-speed bi-directional links are available for connection to NTP 625 or PENTA 725 systems. An AES3 monitor output is available for monitoring of inputs and outputs. Supplementary to the remote control via TCP I/P, router settings can be controlled locally using front panel navigation keys.

NEW: NTP BLISS-Matrix
Developed from the BLISS 660-500 software console, BLISS-Matrix is an audio mixer designed specifically for n-1 (mix-minus) applications in which individual commentators can monitor all live content except their own feed, as in news and sports broadcasting broadcasting.

NEW:NTP RCCoreV3 router control system
RCCore is a software application which handles configuration, control and supervision of all router modules in an NTP audio signal distribution system. It also forms a communication interface to NTP's VMC and BLISS control options and to third-party communication protocols. RCCoreV3 expands the capabilities of NTP's audio routers and gives existing customers the option of updating equipment already in operation. Features include remote access and log-in at expert-user level for system set-up, maintenance and database management. RCCoreV3 also allows secure access via Virtual Private Network. A plug-and-play retro-compatible database can be held on the active controller and on standby controllers. RCCoreV3 can be used as a stand-alone controller within the NTP 635-300 router or run from standard PC hardware. It allows highly efficient control of the router's dual-backbone interface and supports the double LAN interface on 625-800 frames. The feature set also includes future support for SNMP.

NEW: NTP DAD AX24 eight-channel audio ADC/DAC
Making its first IBC exhibition appearance, NTP's DAD AX24 is an eight-channel analogue/digital/analogue audio converter. It supports PCM frequencies of 44.1 up to 192 kHz as well as the 352.8 kHz sampling rate used for recording and editing Super Audio CDs. The AX24 converter is designed primarily for use with high-end digital audio workstations. It delivers low noise, low distortion and high sound transparency. An optional high-quality microphone preamplifier makes the AX24 the world's best and most 'analogue sounding' front end.

The NTP team at IBC2009 will include Mikael Vest (Sales Director), Hans Christian Kjaergaard-Hansen (Managing Director) and applications engineers Heine Pedersen (attending Friday to Sunday) and Kim Vangsgaard (Sunday to Tuesday).

NTP Technology develops, manufactures and distributes broadcast-quality digital audio routers and control software for the world market. The company was established in 1958 and is a major supplier of high-reliability audio routing systems for major international broadcasters. NTP products are integrated into television and radio stations as well as major production centres, post-production facilities and outside broadcast vehicles

The location of the NTP booth is centrally placed at B51 in Hall 8.

The NTP team and I are looking forward to se you at the show.
