AUDIO INTERFACING
In broadcast infrastructures, whether being in facilities or outside broadcasting applications, a variety of analog and digital signals are interconnected.
And often there is a need for flexibility in terms of audio interfaces and formats, as well as interconnection and signal flows.
The ability to accommodate solutions with a combination of analog, AES3 and MADI digital interfaces, as well as Dante and AES67, in one compact unit makes the Penta 720 or Penta 721 the perfect choice in a modern audio environment.
DANTE / AES67
The 'new analog' is low latency AoIP. The convenience of having just an ethernet connection carry all of your audio channels makes this the obvious way to interconnect audio.
We have a strong focus on the networked audio technology and the zones between open formats like Dante and AES67. Dante provides access to a large 'eco system' of many hundreds I/O devices and Penta 720 / Penta 721 fits perfectly into that space. With AES67 capability the eco system is also compatible with other AoIP systems like Ravenna.
DISTRIBUTED AUDIO ROUTING
For decades, we have supplied major broadcasters worldwide with large and small audio router infrastructures in both Radio and TV applications. With the Penta units and the redundant RCCore control system, router solutions can be created, using MADI or Dante/AES67 AoIP networks.
With the database-driven RCCore control system, a large variety of configurations can be implemented, providing user control via the VMC2 software for signal flow management, scheduling and signal surveillance.
We also develop audio-routing, AD/DA/DD conversion and monitoring solutions under the DAD brand.
These solutions aim specifically at various segments in the music production market,
including studio, location recording, live events and post production.
